Victoria Galperina: I’m Victoria Galperina, and I’m Please begin by telling our readers a little about yourself. What part of the world are you from, and when did you start your internet business?

Harsh Agrawal (Harsh Agrawal): Thank you for having me on your prestigious blog, Victoria. I’m Harsh Agrawal, a professional blogger from New Delhi, India, for those who don’t know who I am. I began my online career in 2008 with a BlogSpot site before switching to WordPress and launching ShoutMeLoud.com.

ShoutMeLoud is now a community where bloggers and digital marketers can learn how to succeed online. ShoutMeLoud has a worldwide Alexa rank of less than 2000 and gets about 1 million page visits each month. What’s more fascinating is that organic traffic accounts for 80% of our traffic.

I began writing as a result of my desire to learn and share what I’ve learned in order to assist others. Since childhood, I’ve believed in being an inquisitive person, and this has aided me in being a lifelong learner.

I like trying new things and have just begun my adventure as a digital nomad. Last month, I flew to Thailand’s gorgeous island of Krabi for a half-month work assignment. Simply said, writing has provided me with a level of freedom that I could never have imagined in my wildest fantasies.

VG: India has had a significant influence on technology and digital marketing in general. What’s next for India’s digital economy?

HA: India is a nation that is seeing rapid development in digital marketing. This is one of the reasons why all of the world’s IT giants, such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon, are so focused on the Indian digital market. One reason is that a large portion of the Indian population has yet to learn about the Internet, providing an excellent chance for any Internet company to enter the market first.

I’d also want to express my gratitude to our present Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, who is foresighted and pushes the notion of Digital India in order to keep India growing in line with the current trend.

VG: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced themes are available on your popular website ShoutMeLoud. What is the best way to structure this material so that it is useful to individuals at all levels?

HA: This is one of the daily issues I confront, since my usual expert users resent it when I write articles for newcomers. They demand more sophisticated subjects, which is difficult to provide on a daily basis. As a marketer and blogger, I want to make sure that newcomers learn about blogging as well, which is why I often produce introductory articles to get them started before exposing them to the broad world of internet marketing.

ShoutMeLoud readers adore it since there’s something new to learn every day. As a result, it provides them a cause to return. Here’s an intriguing fact: direct traffic accounts for 15% of all traffic we get.

VG: What are the four most important things you’ve learnt while starting ShoutMeLoud?

HA: It’s difficult to choose the top four since I learn something new every day. Here are a few examples that come to mind right now:

  • Don’t do what everyone else is doing if you want to live a life that is distinct from everyone else’s.
  • Collaborate with folks who are enthusiastic about what they do.
  • You must take care of all elements of your life in order to be genuinely effective. For instance, just as going to the gym is beneficial to your physical health, meditating is beneficial to your mental health.
  • The Internet is a complex environment, and in order to stand out, you must be both knowledgeable and hardworking.
  • Success is a marathon, not a sprint.

VG: Is ShoutMeLoud the only thing you’re working on right now, or do you have any other side projects?

HA: I’m a professional blogger, which means I earn my living via the internet. “Never put all your eggs in one basket,” my parents told me, and this is one piece of advise I constantly provide to my readers.

That’s why, in addition to ShoutMeLoud, I’m working on a few other projects to guarantee that if anything goes wrong, it won’t be the end of my career.

I now have a network of blogs focused on niches that I’m interested in, and I like writing about them. Here are a few sites where you can understand why I like a variety of different niches:

  • ShoutMeTech is a technology blog.
  • WPfreesetup.com is a website dedicated to WordPress tutorials.
  • ShoutMeHindi: This website was created to assist a new generation of Internet users in learning about online marketing in their own language.
  • My domain selling company is called ShoutMyDomain.

Because I believe in quality above quantity, I only update my other blogs when I have anything essential or valuable to share with others.

VG: What recommendations would you provide to someone looking to earn money as an affiliate marketer? Do you have any preferences for certain niches? Companies that come highly recommended?

HA: As an affiliate marketer, there are a variety of paths to success. When working online, you should concentrate on developing something that will provide you with long-term results. Start a blog or a website on pricing comparisons, or anything else that benefits others more than you.

Focus on a specialty in which you have a strong interest, and if you don’t know what that interest is, find out. You will never completely live till you find it. Make sure the specialty you choose has a monetary value.

Here are a few additional pointers:

  •  Focus on content marketing in addition to sales to make an impact.
  • Focus on your text and educate consumers about the product. A successful affiliate marketer must be an excellent seller and wordsmith.
  • Use Link Cloaker right away if you don’t want to deal with link management afterwards.
  • Keep up with the latest technology and learn what works and what doesn’t. You can’t expect to earn the same with a years-old approach, especially now that a large chunk of the web is transitioning to mobile.
  • Make a point of focusing on minimal marketing. Do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

VG: What advise do you provide for new bloggers who are just getting started?

HA: In today’s world, blogging has evolved into a new age enterprise that is more than just a fashion statement. One thing to keep in mind if you want to make money from your blog is that it takes time. It’s a lengthy process, but it pays off handsomely in the end. You’ll learn more about yourself as well as make money.

Here are a few things to learn and remember when you’re just starting out:

  •  Writing: Your choice of words is the only way you can make a difference. Spend time studying about writing and writing on a regular basis.
  • SEO: Search engine optimization is the most effective approach to deliver targeted visitors to your website who are looking for a solution or who may benefit from your post. Learn about search engine optimization from the beginning, since this will help your blog expand faster.
