The search box in Domain Overview is the best place to start when looking for information about a domain in Webinomy.

When you input a domain, you’ll see all of the data we have on that domain right away.

This may seem overwhelming at first since there is a lot of information to take in all at once. Breaking down and analyzing each part of a competitor’s website is the greatest method to understand and connect with it.

Search Engine Optimization

First, let’s start by looking at a domain’s Search Engine Optimization traffic. This is the place to be when it comes to understanding just the organic side of your search.

For this particular case, let’s take a look at the Search Engine Optimization traffic for Adidas. As you can see currently has 21.1 million worldwide Search Engine Optimizationes.

It’s vital to remember that this is a monthly average based on the keywords we detected for this site.

In addition to traffic volume, Search Engine Optimization data will let you analyze the number of keywords, traffic cost, branded traffic, and non-branded traffic.

The amount of keywords that drive people to the domain is shown in Keywords, while Branded and Non-Branded traffic displays their respective traffic.

Finally, Traffic Cost tells you how much you’d have to spend each month in Google Ads to rank for these keywords.

You’ll also note that each number in this list has a percentage next to it. This shows you the % change in the specified category since the previous update.

Changes that are positive will be indicated in green, while those that are bad will be shown in red.

Depending on the amount of searches, keywords are updated in various ways. Please see our FAQ for additional details on how we update our keywords.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

When you are looking at a domain from a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) perspective, you will be revealing your competitors’ bidding information. In this example, we can see that Adidas has 309.9K visits in traffic, specifically from Search Engine Marketing (SEM) traffic. Just below that number, you will see this traffic is coming from 2.44K keywords.

When you click on this Search Engine Marketing (SEM) traffic number you’ll be brought to the Advertising Research report. Here you will gain an even more in-depth analysis of a domain’s paid traffic. You will see the keywords, traffic, and traffic cost. The percentage change represents the difference since the last update.

If we want to figure out how this happened, we may look at the Advertising Research Position Changes report to see what keywords have changed since the previous update.

The websites that connect to the domain you searched for are shown under Backlinks. There are 34.5 million backlinks for Adidas, as you can see. This is based on the data we presently have in our system for 38.4 trillion backlinks.

Advertisements that are shown

The number for Advertisements that are shown refers to AdSense data. If you are not aware, AdSense is advertising on other websites. Webinomy has a crawler that will be able to verify the data for this report.

The Advertisements that are shown Overview report will break down this data even further. We can see that Adidas has 4.5K ads running with 5.5K different publishers.

By investigating your rivals, you can learn where they advertise and use that knowledge to your advantage. We can see the percentage of change for the domain since the previous update, just as we see in the other sections.

Search Engine Optimization Traffic

If you keep scrolling down, you will see the Search Engine Optimization part of the Overview page. As you scroll down you will notice the highlighted Search Engine Optimization traffic widget at the top of the dashboard. As you continue to scroll down, these widgets will highlight to match the section you are in.

Top organic keywords is the first widget in the organic research area. This graph displays the top Adidas keywords, along with their volume, CPC, and traffic percentage.

We can observe how their placement is divided across their keywords if we go to the right. This tells us how many keywords they have in the top three spots, as well as how many in positions 4-10, 11-20, 21-50, and 51-100.

The main rivals for Adidas may be seen lower down the page. These rivals are shown on the graph to the right, with each competitor represented by a bubble.

The location of each bubble will change depending on the keywords it ranks for and the amount of traffic it receives. The higher the bubble rises, the more traffic from Organic Keywords they will get. The farther to the right the bubble advances, the more keywords they will rank for in the Top 100 results.

Branded Traffic is discussed in the last section of this study. This is based on the Organic Keywords for which the domain currently ranks.

Webinomy reveals how many of the terms the domain is ranking for Organically are branded keywords, as well as the information linked with them, by evaluating the keywords the site is ranking for.

We can examine how much traffic these keywords generate, how they connect to the domain’s non-branded terms, and the traffic trend these keywords have been experiencing.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Traffic

The same concept we applied to the Search Engine Optimization section can be applied to the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) section. You will see a similar type of information that was displayed in Search Engine Optimization for top Keywords and Competitors is displayed the same way for Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

The competition position maps and position trend distribution are the same.

The other main difference between Organic and Paid is the Sample Ads section at the bottom. This will show you your competitors’ Ad Copy for their Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts.

You will be sent to another report in our program if you pick the “View Full Report” option on any of these parts, which will show additional information about the section you chose.

The backlinks section of the Overview page will show you a glimpse of the backlink data we found for a website. Backlinks will be the first part displayed, and it will provide a sample of individual backlinks going to the requested site. We may look at the Link URL and the referring page title in this area.

We may see a circle diagram next to this data that breaks out terms from follow to no-follow. We can then look at the diagram below to see what kind of backlinks this domain has pointing to it.

By looking at the Top Anchors section, we may learn more about the domain’s backlinks. This will reveal which anchor text is most often utilized in their backlinks. This may assist in identifying what a domain utilizes to attract visitors.

This will also provide the number of websites and backlinks that utilize this specific anchor. Following that, the referring domains will be shown, which will correspond to the backlinks displayed. This informs you of the number of domains that connect to the domain in question. The indexed pages of the domain may then be examined.

When looking at these sites, keep in mind that what Google has indexed isn’t always what you’ll find. This data comes from our own sources, and it shows you how many indexed pages Webinomy identified for the domain in question.
